Land dispute and she was resenting the way this precinct office handled the dispute, she kept visiting to complain
Incident:
According to the precinct's report (may not reflect the reality), around 9:00AM on April 1, 2015, Ms Lương rode a bike to the precinct's government office. There, she met Mr. TRẦN Thanh Bình, the guard on duty, she asked to meet Mr. TRẦN Mạnh Quân, the precinct head, but Mr. Quân wasn't there. In there, she asked to use the female restroom. The report said she burned the restroom and hit her head into the toilet to commit suicide. The precinct people put out the fire and took her to Saint Paul hospital, there she died at 4:15PM on Apr 2, 2015 due to serious burning.
Ms NGUYỄN Thanh Hiền, her daughter, went to the hospital and saw her mother's whole body was seriously burned, blood all over and many purple spots.
Mr. NGUYỄN Tiến Khởi (Ms Lương's husband), a handicapped veteran level 1/4, blind of both eyes, has been strongly suspicious of his wife's death. He said security police guarded the hospital to prevent any visiting until she got into coma and family couldn't get any of her words.
Contrary to the precinct report, Mr. Khởi said his wife died in the early morning of April 2, 2015 and the body was moved to the military hospital 354 for autopsy, there the doctor said in front of dozen people that Ms Lương had 5 broken chest bones, head injury with blood bleeding inside.
Blogger's Comment:
According to Vietnam's Security Department's Report in Mar 2015: From Jan 10, 2011 to Sept 30, 2014, there are 226 persons died in temporary police transitional cells.
Originated from the brutal force, the regime has designed the police CULTURE of beating at first sign and torture. This culture has to be changed.
